These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites and mobile applications offered under the iYinYang brand, including iYinYang, YinYangmate, and iYinYang AI (collectively, the “Services”). “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operators of these Services. By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

This page is a standard consumer-facing template for App Store and website use. It is not legal advice and has not been certified by counsel for every jurisdiction.

1. Educational & entertainment purpose

The Services provide Chinese astrology, yin-yang, BaZi / Four Pillars, compatibility, and related cultural or reflective content for personal interest, education, and spiritual entertainment. They are not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or professional advice. Do not use the Services as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on any content in the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction (or have a parent/guardian’s consent where required) to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

3. License & acceptable use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes (except as expressly allowed by an in-app purchase or Family Sharing). You agree not to:

  • Copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute the Services except as allowed by law
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services or related systems
  • Use the Services for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
  • Misrepresent the Services as providing predictive certainty or professional advice

4. Accounts, profiles & content you provide

Some features let you create profiles or enter birth-related details. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping any credentials secure. Content you enter remains yours; you grant us a limited license only as needed to operate features you choose to use (see our Privacy Policy).

5. Purchases, subscriptions & trials

Certain apps or features may be offered as a one-time purchase, free download with optional in-app purchases, or auto-renewable subscription (for example, iYinYang AI Pro). Payment is processed by Apple or Google (or another store) under their terms. Pricing, free trials, and renewal periods are shown at purchase. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your store account settings. Refunds are handled by the applicable store’s policies unless required otherwise by law.

6. Apple, Google & third parties

If you download an app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you acknowledge that Apple Inc., Google LLC, and their affiliates are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the Services, content, maintenance, or support, except as required by their platform rules. Your use of those stores is also subject to their terms. Optional on-device features (such as Apple Intelligence, when available) are provided subject to the platform provider’s terms and device capabilities.

7. Intellectual property

The Services, including software, design, trademarks (including iYinYang and related marks), and original content, are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that readings, charts, compatibility scores, forecasts, or AI-generated text are accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50, EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms or modify the Services. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date (and, where appropriate, in-app notice). Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue a Service.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply. Disputes will be resolved in a forum of competent jurisdiction, subject to those protections.
